A teacher Mónica, mais uma vez, no âmbito do projeto B- English,  contou-nos hoje uma história que se chamava "The Penguin Who Wanted to Fly", de Catherine Vise.

A história contava mais ou menos isto:

"Flip-Flop sat on his favourite thinking rock and looked up into the sky. I wish I could fly, he said to himself.

All Flip-Flop, the penguin, wants is to fly.

 But not even his snow aeroplane can give him wings.

What is a small penguin to do?

B - English

It's the night before Christmas, and Splat wonders if he's been a good enough cat this year to deserve a really big present.

Just to make sure, he offers some last-minute help to his mom and, in typical Splat fashion, he messes up completely!

That night Splat stays awake hoping to see Santa Claus.

But when Splat misses him, he's sure his Christmas is ruined—along with his hopes for a really big present. . .

B - English...

As the leaves on the trees go from green to red and gold, two curious squirrels embrace the change of seasons!

When he wakes up one morning to find that his home tree is changing, the little squirrel is scared! Why are all the leaves falling off? Quickly he corrals his sister and they gather up the leaves in colorful pawfuls.

But try as they may to stick them back on the branches, it's hopeless: Yellow, orange, red, and brown, all the leaves keep falling down! It's only when their wise mama explains what happens in autumn that the two little squirrels understand the seasons are changing.

Green leaves will sprout anew in spring!

B - English

Esta história contada em Inglês, e pela teacher Mónica que lecciona esta área na nossa turma chama-se "Scaredy-cat, splat!".

É Halloween e Splat  está determinado a ser o mais assustador gato na sua classe. Infelizmente ele é apenas um gato muito medroso.

Ele tem medo de uma pequena aranha, e todo mundo diz que seu traje parece mais idiota do que assustador.

E quando o professor conta uma história de fantasmas no escuro, Splat fica tão assustado que... que...
